Ms. Hiranthi Ratnayake is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, and also holds a Bachelors Degree in Public Administration from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. She joined the Tax and Legal Services Division of PricewaterhouseCoopers in January 1998 as a Senior manager and was promoted as a Partner in January 2001. From July 2006 to December 2017 she continued to serve as a Director and as a Senior Consultant from January 2018 to December 2018. From January 2019 she is self employed as a tax adviser/consultant. Hiranthi is a Member of the Tax Faculty (1999 to date) and a Member of the Taxation Committee (1999 to date). Alternate chair from 2014 to 2017. Chairperson from 2018 to date.

She was the Treasurer of the Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka Members’ Benevolent Society from December 1986 to December 1989, Secretary from mid 1999 to mid 2004, Vice president from mid 2005 to September 2008 and First Female President from September 2008 to October 2009. Committee Member from October 2010 to September 2011. Ms.Hiranthi is also a Distinguished Toastmaster of Toastmasters International
